Live Wedding Painting

BEFORE YOUR WEDDING

- To check if your wedding date is available, simply submit an inquiry. I typically respond within 24 hours.

- Secure your date by signing a contract and paying a 25% deposit.

Consultation: About 4-6 weeks before your wedding, we’ll have a detailed consultation to plan your artwork. During this meeting, we’ll discuss your preferred colors, scenes, poses, and any other details that you envision for your keepsake artwork.

ON YOUR WEDDING DAY

- I will arrive 4 hours before the ceremony to start painting the background and planning the composition, ensuring the artwork is already in progress as guests arrive.

- Depending on your timeline, I’ll arrange a brief photoshoot with you for reference, which may take place before or after the ceremony.

- Using these reference photos, I’ll sketch your moment onto the canvas and bring the scene to life with paint.

- By the end of the night, your painting will be nearly finished. We can arrange either a private or public reveal and, If your photographer or videographer is still present, I’ll coordinate with them so they can capture a moment of you with your new painting.

AFTER YOUR WEDDING

- I’ll take the painting back to my studio to add the finishing touches and apply a protective varnish. This process typically takes 4-6 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the painting.

- Once completed, your painting will be securely packaged and shipped to you, or we can even arrange a local pickup.

Live Guest Paintings

Wedding Guest Paintings add a unique and entertaining touch to your special day, doubling as personalized favors for your guests. During your wedding, I can create approximately 30 guest paintings for attendees to take home, with any remaining paintings completed afterward and sent to the bride and groom for distribution.

I’ll arrive before the ceremony to set up, ensuring I’m ready to start painting as soon as cocktail hour begins and continuing through the reception. I provide a 2x4’ table with a white linen tablecloth, but if you prefer a different style or color of covering, we can easily accommodate that. I’m also flexible about moving the setup from cocktail hour to the reception, or working with tables arranged by the venue or wedding planner for a smooth transition.

Once cocktail hour starts, I’ll take photos of guests who visit my table and paint as many portraits as possible within the timeframe. Guests will love seeing their custom portraits, and many will get to take theirs home that evening. To make the process clear, I’ll display a framed sign that reads “Live Guest Paintings” along with another sign explaining how it works. For the best guest experience, it’s helpful to place my table where guests naturally gather—most portraits are taken during cocktail hour, with guests checking back throughout the reception to pick them up.

Each painting takes about 5 minutes per person or 10 minutes for a couple, which allows me to paint approximately 6 couples per hour. I use ink and acrylic watercolor on 6x9” watercolor paper, and each painting is placed in a protective plastic sleeve for safe transport home. These keepsake paintings are ready to be framed and cherished as a memory of your wedding day.

Since I can paint about 6 couples per hour, it's likely that several photos taken will be completed after the event. These remaining paintings will be mailed to the bride and groom, along with a digital gallery of guest photos to help you match each portrait with the right guest.
